Tiktok is not Vine, Quarantine is not vacation

My partner and my roommate are taking a dance class together in the living room. It sounds like a neighbor is listening to an opera across the block. I notice more sounds from the block nowadays.

I mostly noticed a few birds. Not sure they are new or that they I am hearing less music. There are a few sirens. I want to dance but my room is tiny and I don't want to disturb the super who lives below. These are noisy floorboards!

• I am learning to accept that being alone and feeling lonely is okay.
• I've learned that human touch really makes me feel safe.
• That I miss dancing and I should more often.
